Nordica Store. Network in Sweden. Iceland workshop.

Iceland hotography workshop

A store, a new network in Sweden and a workshop announcement.

Since we started Nordica in 2009, we’ve discussed selling prints and books. It has always been on our wish list, but the timing was never right. We’re ready now, though, and have big plans for our new online store: NordicaStore.com

We introduced the store recently and to start with, we’re offering prints, books, and some new options for workshops. This is merely the beginning for our store, and we’re quite excited to watch this grow.

Aside from launching the store, we have been invited to join WeddingPhotographers.se, a network of Sweden’s most established wedding photographers. The group – which was previously comprised of only females – has changed shaped since being founded a few years ago, and we’re quite honoured to join the network. In collaboration with the others, we look forward to putting together events for both vendors and photographers in Sweden, and to push one another to maintain the wedding photography industry in Sweden.

The website can be viewed here, and we recently started a Facebook page and Google Plus page.

Finally, we’re excited to announce our next workshop, which will be over two days this October in Iceland. As the Get Real concept continues to evolve, we’re very happy to bring the workshop to the capital of Iceland, Reykjavik. We have a guest speaker joining us from on of the largest wedding blogs in Europe, we have the option of shared accommodations in the heart of Reykjavik, we’ll go for a photo shoot to the lava fields, and we’re looking forward to sharing as much information as we can during the two days.

Information about the Iceland workshop and seat purchases can be made via the store here. Seats are limited to 15. And if you have any questions about the workshop or about Iceland in general, you’re more than welcome to contact us.

So, a few new things on the agenda together with the many other things we have on our plate. In addition to entering the heart of the 2014 wedding season, we have much more information to share as we continue to grow and expand Nordica into new ventures.
