Social Media Photography | Amber | Vancouver Portrait Photographers

On March 6th, there is a very special charity fundraiser going on at the Pacific Palisades (which in on Robson Street) called Hearts for Haiti. It will be a night of fun which will include live jazz music, a wee bar with snacks, a decked out room and an Art Auction. The art part of things was how we figured out about the evening, as we were asked to donate items for auction (which we gladly did!).

If you are interested in buying tickets, they are a hell of a deal at only $25 (which of course goes towards the money raised for the Haiti relief effort). That ticket gets you a drink, some nibbly bites and of course the evening itself which will be fun. You can buy tickets online at the Hearts for Haiti Vancouver website.

That’s all well and good! Another reason we are posting this is one of the organizers: Amber. She was the lady who contacted us initially about donating items, and once we sat down to chat a bit, we got to know here and things sort of blossomed from there.

What happened next was we learned she was looking to build her online presence, which lead to us doing a Social Media Photography session with her. This was a pretty cool situation as donating art was all we really expected, so this was definitely an added bonus and a win-win!

In addition, Amber is the first person who chose to get our next Social Media Photography package offering, which will include a website in addition to a Twitter background. We’re still working out the details of this package, but stay tuned!
