Since the day we started Nordica, one of our goals has been to photograph a wedding in India.
Indian weddings are visually amazing, and traveling to that part of the world to document a multiple day celebration would be incredible.
But in the meantime, we have had the pleasure of photographing a quite a few Indian weddings in and around Vancouver. Each and every one of them have been amazing, full-on experiences and Rimal and Kam’s wedding in Ladner, BC was no different.
Their celebration had an intensity about it that’s hard to put into words. Positive intensity, definitely, and one of the reasons we love photographing this culture. There’s always something going on and while the traditions and customs are similar, every Indian wedding is very different.
