Danelle and Dirk knew what they wanted: an intimate celebration in a beautiful location. And Danelle – being a New Zealand based wedding photographer herself – had her heart set on a day a little bit outside the norm. Something closer to a large, cozy family dinner, than the traditional New Zealand wedding.

They decided to get married at Poronui, close to the city of Taupo on the north island of New Zealand, and got exactly what they wanted. An intimate, beautiful winter day with their closest friends and family, and a celebration perfectly suited for their personalities.
