BALI WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHYZun & Mark
Photograph your wedding in Bali? Sure, why not.
Yes, Zun and Mark, we are excited about your inquiry. Yes, Zun and Mark, we are stoked about going to Indonesia for your wedding. Yes, Zun and Mark, we are trying to play it cool about how ridiculously pumped we are about all this.
We have shot weddings all over the world in the past couple of years, but we’re still far from immune to the excitement of booking these crazy destination weddings.
About a year after Zun and Mark’s first email us about their wedding plans, we arrived in Bali. We had a driver pick us up and take us to Ubud, a culturally-rich little town in the centre of Bali. It was hot and humid with smells all around us that we had never experienced, and we knew right away that we would have no problems spending time on this island.
On our first day with Zun and Mark, we explored Ubud together, and on day two we joined their families to experience Zun and Mark’s multicultural wedding. The morning of their wedding started early with two ceremonies – one for Zun and one for Mark – and later in the afternoon we drove to through the mountains to the Brahmavihara Arama monastery in the northern parts of Bali, for a wedding blessing from a Buddhist monk.
Bali got to us bigtime, and we will definitely be returning one day.
