Charlotte’s sister Sarah was married a few years ago at their family’s home London, and we were fortunate enough to document her day. So to reconvene with their family again in France was a great experience.

Destination weddings take many shapes. Some are all-inclusive, some are stripped down to the bare minimum, some rely on the nature for the backdrop, and on and on.

For this wedding, the tiny village of Chavron completely shutdown and it was truly a community affair. Random villagers drinking alongside new friends, strangers doing what they could to contribute, and a town going out of its way to welcome a group of foreigners to their world.
