Barn weddings in Sweden are rare. Erika and Romain’s almost never happened at all.

Beckershofs Herrgård is in Katrineholm, Sweden, the venue for their summer wedding, and has an old barn hidden away on the property. The barn hadn’t been used as a wedding venue, and the property owners had written it off long ago as a dusty old building.

But when Erika found it, that was it. She made up her mind.

So Erika, her friends and family cleared out the old barn, tidied it up, and the setting was set for the weekend celebration.
