Couple Photography | Capilano University | Sherry & Nick

Sherry and Nick contacted us for some photography a while back, but we were waiting for perfect weather before going forth with the shoot. Well, the weather cooperated on a quiet Sunday afternoon, and Capilano University was the scene for our time together.

The couple’s story is they met at Capilano while studying back in the day, and have been together ever since. With that in mind, they wanted to get pictures where it all began for them. We went to the classroom where they first met one another, and carried on the photography to various spots around the campus that were meaningful to them.

We also spent a little time learning the ropes to checkers. There was an outdoor table set up, and we got the chance to actually learn the rules. We had played prior to meeting Sherry and Nick, but were clueless to how the game is played. So, we used that as a great excuse to have them play together!

This was a very special shoot for sure. We had never done anything in the North Shore Mountains before this, but we’ll definitely being using that neck of the woods again for future couple shoots.
