Jenny and Joel’s wedding was an outdoor beach wedding on the hottest day of the year in West Vancouver. It was a sweaty, wicked-awesome day. We’ll fire up the whole post before ya know it.

The plan for this engagement session was to meet up at the top of Grouse Mountain and take in the wicked views of Vancouver, catch a few ‘snowy’ pictures and soak in the awesomeness of one of Vancouver’s best ski hills. So, we went up early to scout things out. It was a sunny day…

You are fast becoming my favourite photographers. My head is always filled with ‘oohs’ and ‘ahhs’ when I look at your work.
Every time you guys shoot an engagement, I think “wow, that’s my favorite one yet” then you go an shoot another… Great job.
I am very impressed by these railway shots. They have a nostalgic flavor to it, along with your photography style and beautiful couple, makes some very great photographs. A-Class work.
I really have to agree with Marianne here. Your work is taking my breath away.
I love how intensive the connection is that you have with your subjects.
Beautiful photographs. Lovely light there. Truly good.
Nordicarific – that last one in particular is incredible. The light hitting the rails – o my! Bet it would make a great canvass.
The first shot — those eyes! Super solid set guys!
These are absolutely beautiful. You are too good! It doesn’t heart that they are a gorgeous couple. Your command of your art/craft comes through. Again :)

I love this post…especially the cityscape in focus with holding hands shot! I’d totally put that on a canvas in my living room.

Really like the processing in these, also love the way you have used elements in the surrounding environment, great job.
Love all the different angles on these – unique shoot!
Love the BW and subtle processing!
Nice! That last shot is especially awesome.
Your use of lines and creative compositions just kill me. Honestly, I think you could go out into the middle of an empty lot and manage to find ridiculous photos.
Beautiful and really creative work!
That bridge is ridic and the scenery gorgeous! Love all the angles. Beautiful job!
Awesome job. The shot of the bridge solo, centered, above.. is epic. Best picture I’ve seen in a long time.

The final shot floored me, but I also love your reflection shots. What a lovely series.

Love the lighting you guys had. Whytecliff is a nice place, as long as you don’t get stuck when the tide rises.
Thank you so much! They are absolutely beatiful, love them!! Kick ass!! Nordica photography rules! Thank you once again!
Fint par, fina bilder! :)
Gorgeous images! I particularily love the top one! Gorgeous!
like like like!!
Brilliant. I think one of your best shoots. How did you even go there :D Look like a lone island, wonderful location.
Portraits :)
Very nice.
Girish – It’s an island by a park. Kind of a sketchy spot actually because if the tide goes out (and it does quite quickly) then you’re stuck on the island. Unless you’re a good swimmer! We forgot to tell the couple this and just went with the flow…
Congratulations Patrik + Catharina! It’s too bad we were unable to meet up while you were in town. Thanks again for being my diving buddy in Thailand! Best wishes to the future!
