“Circle of awesome”.

 

We’ve coined the term at our workshops, and normally we are referring to networking with other photographers.

But a circle of awesome can take many shapes.

Almost two years ago, Meg and Adam contacted us. They were having a barn wedding on Westham Island near Vancouver and wanted us to document it. What we didn’t know back then was that we were entering their circle of awesome. Katie and Andy – friends of Meg and Adam’s – were in that circle, and just so happened to be having their wedding in the same barn the following year.

This barn is not open to the public, so if you’re not in their circle, you can’t have your wedding there. We mention that because we get emails almost daily about the barn’s availability.

It’s an amazing location for a wedding, so we don’t blame people for emailing us. But this perfect venue is reserved only for a select few.
