Lisa and Max’s wedding in Oslo was a celebration that combined the best of Norwegian hospitality with the architectural beauty of the Norwegian capital. The Norwegian Capital

Oslo has transformed dramatically in recent years, with new waterfront developments, the striking Oslo Opera House, and the Barcode district adding contemporary architecture to the city’s skyline. For wedding photography, this mix of old and new provides excellent variety. The Aker Brygge waterfront, the fortress at Akershus, and the tree-lined streets of Frogner all offer distinct settings within a compact, walkable area. Lisa and Max’s celebration moved between indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the day, and the summer light in Oslo gave us extended golden hours for portraits along the waterfront. Considering we’re based in a northern country (Sweden), we don’t shoot a lot of winter weddings. We’re big fans of them though, and hopefully you’ll see more winter wonderland celebrations on our site in the future.

Lise and Max were married at Hoel Gård in Norway. They went all in with the snowy and windy weather, and celebrated in style with some 100 of their friends and families at this beautiful venue in the middle of nowhere.
