Hosting a forest wedding makes sense if you're into forests and nature. Or a mountain wedding. Or a beach wedding. Or a bingo-hall wedding (if bingo is your thing). If it makes sense and it fits, you could really have a wedding almost anywhere. As long as it's non-contrived.

Document You // Amber & Bryan

Up until now we've been offering engagement sessions as a part of our wedding photography packages. Engagement sessions are very popular in Vancouver, as well as pretty much anywhere in North America, and the idea is to get photos done together before you're getting married. That's all fine and dandy, and we dig the idea of doing a photo shoot before the wedding. It's an awesome way for us to get to know couples and it's a great way for couples to get an additional set of photos, as well as to get comfortable with us. Win-win-win.

Reykjavik Engagement Photography

"Meet us at 9.30PM in front of Hallgrímskirkja. Show up and we'll take care of everything from there." That was how we planned to meet them for the first time. We had heard their voice over Skype, friended them on Facebook, and exchanged a lot of emails, but meeting the couple who's wedding we'd photograph a few days later for the first time this way - in Iceland a few days before their wedding - was...different. So, they arrived on time and we got right at it. Their engagement session in Reykjavik.

Vogue Theatre Vancouver // Hannah & Mike

The Vogue Theatre is the best venue in Vancouver for concerts. Period. The end. Mumford and Sons went as far as saying it's the best venue they've ever played. There's a picture hanging on the wall when you enter the venue to prove it.
